To help give our dogs their medicine, we would love the following donations:
If you are interested in setting up a memorial, Trust, or after-life gift, our Director would be more than happy to meet you with to discuss options and provide any assistance you may need.
For a gift falling into one of the levels below, a pet-themed plate will be engraved with your name and/or memorial designee, and the amount donated.
Orders for plates will be put in twice a year, in January and July.
Plates will be mounted on the donor wall in the Burlington Animal Shelter’s Community Room.
$500-$999- 6-inch plate
$1000-$2499- 8-inch plate
$2500-$10,000- 10-inch plate
$10,000 and over- 12-inch plate

For as little as $15 a month, you can sponsor a kennel at the Burlington Animal Shelter. The kennel sponsorship program is open to individuals, groups, companies and other organizations. Your sponsorship helps provide care for the animals that pass through the shelter doors.
The name of the sponsor and a short dedication will be framed and hung on the kennel. An annual tax deduction statement will be provided upon request.

PetCo Love Foundation Grants
We are very thankful for grants we do receive at the shelter, Petco Foundation has helped us out quite often when in need. We just received a grant for $10,000 for our outside runs to get an update which was much needed! Our doors were sticking and the parts were rusty and not working very well for us, even got to be a little dangerous sometimes dealing with the doors sticking in our Quarantine room. We now have updated doors and hardware that works and is not rusted out!

We are always in need of Kuranda beds for our doggies... these beds keep our dogs up off the concrete floor and gives them a comfy, safe place to sleep. The Kuranda beds are a bit more expensive than the lower cost, less durable ones that are available on the market. These beds seem to last a few years before having to be replaced so they are much more cost-efficient in the long run. We are WISHING for the 35x23 size with green fabric (so they match our current beds). If you would like to donate a bed, it would be greatly appreciated. Beds can be shipped to: DMCHS, 2000 N.
